• Relax in Tanner Springs Park, a quiet city park right outside your door
• Get around town easily and on a budget.  There’s a Portland Streetcar stop and a TriMet bus stop on the corner, there’s a Zipcar parked in front of the leasing office, and we have a lot of bike parking at the building.  If you own a car, we have underground parking available for a monthly fee.
• Breathe easy in these energy-efficient buildings that are healthy for you and easy on the environment. Currently, the west building is smoke-free. As of September 1, 2008, both buildings will be smoke-free.
• Use the Sitka’s free Internet to stay connected and save even more of your hard-earned money
• Enjoy light-filled apartment thanks to the high ceilings and the large windows.

The Sitka features all of this and more - yet the rents are affordable to people with ordinary incomes.  Income limits apply to most of our apartments.

Please be aware that the Pearl District can be noisy. 

• There is still construction work underway as the neighborhood grows.  That can mean the sound of machinery and trucks during the day.

• The trains that run nearby have to sound their whistle when they cross intersections.  This doesn’t seem noticeable during the day, but can be loud at night.  There is an effort to change the intersections to reduce or eliminate that nighttime noise, but for now Pearl residents learn to live with the sound of trains.
